Day35 : Introductions

Objectives: We will be able to,,,,,,,
  1. review major parts of an introduction.
  2. formulate ideas for GRP introduction.
  3. create GRP introduction outline in groups.




Look at these hooks for a research paper on sugar.

  • Choose the three you like best. 
  • Also choose anything that you would never use. 
  • Then discuss your choices in a group.
  1. Do you like sugar?
  2. "Ecstasy is a glassful of tea and a piece of sugar in the mouth." (Alexander Pushkin)
  3. According to the US Department of Agriculture, the average American consumes between 150 to 170 pounds of sugar a year.
  4. How much sugar do you think the average American eats in one day? Half a cup? A full cup? Guess again.
  5. I have always loved sweet things.
