Choosing an Organization for your IRP and write a short paragraph why you think is the best choice. Please go to the GRP sample above.  Copy & paste the chart into your MS word. Name your MS doc file "IRP_Organization_YOURNAME" and save it to your IRP folder. If you have not created IRP folder, please do so.

Emphasis the connection between the GRP and the IRP: the GRP is designed to outline the procedure you should use in your own IRP. Also, the IRP is about putting into practice what you’ve learned during the GRP process.

In groups, elicit some of the characteristics of a good/appropriate organization for use in the GRP. We are going to create the checklist for characteristics, and this will be applied to your IRP as well.

[15m] Exploration of Organizations and Solutions

In groups, explore the given organization for your group. You have to make a short (1-2 min) presentation on the organization you are given.

[10m] Group Presentation for Organizations

You will present an organization and show why it is the best choice. The focus is that you are able to apply the criteria of a “good”organization to the orgs working on solving the topic problem.
