Day3 : Audience - Communication Model


Objectives
You will be bale to .........
  1. what communication model describe and how communication model is related to writing
  2. identify both explicit and implicit audience and understand the fundamental role of them
  3. evaluate audience focus and markers in the student’s own diagnostic essay and judge its effectiveness based on their new knowledge of the role of audience.
  4. formulate a description of their diagnostic’s audience and strategize revision of the current audience to the newly written audience description so that it is more effective.
  5. analyze cultural differences in essays and how they affect audience when writing in English

Create a NEW file named "audience_communication_YOURNAME.doc"
Write your answers to the following questions. 
  1. Who did you think the audience for the diagnostic is when you were writing this on Wednesday? 
  2. How or why can you tell that they are audience for your writing? 
  3. Who might be the accurate and potential audience?  (e.g. someone from the opposite side since it is a persuasive/argumentative essay)
  4. Look back at your diagnostic,
    is there something you would change with this new perspective - why?
